For almost 20 years, Samantha Breust has worked as a hands-on consultant helping injured or ill people to return-to-function, particularly, work. She has worked with small providers and large multi-state organisations, in workers compensation and life insurance schemes. She has worked in defense, DVA and employment services in all states and territories. Samantha sat down with ASORC to share her Rehabilitation Counsellor Journey.
The Tasmanian Minister for Health has recently launched a Discussion Paper inviting all Tasmanians to contribute to the development of a new 20-Year Preventive Health Strategy.
Liz Radcliff has a career spanning the injury management sector. Having completed her Master of Rehabilitation counselling degree with Griffith University, Liz has worked with the Queensland Department of Education and Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, and most recently with the Department of Justice Tasmania.
Loneliness is a critical issue and is recognised as a public health priority for many countries around the world. However, despite being highly prevalent, loneliness isn’t widely understood or spoken about in Australia.
