Membership Fees

ASORC ® Annual Membership Fees: (all prices inclusive of GST)

* Any student membership fees paid can be credited against the first year of fees when upgrading to Full Membership.

ASORC ® Pro-rata Membership Fees:

In January 2011 ASORC ® introduced quarterly pro-rata membership fees for new applicants only. Lapsed financial members are not eligible for pro-rata fee payment. Please note: $55.00 Application fee needs to be added to the amounts tabled below.

When Joining Between:

ASORC ® Membership Payment Options:

• Credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) pay online or call 1800 643 155 from 9.00 - 5.00 AEST with your credit card details.
• Cheque or Money Order.
• Direct deposit (EFT) to ASORC bank account - NB: If paying by this method please identify your payment by your surname and first name.
• Payment via instalment option is available for credit card payments only. Conditions apply - see below

Conditions of Instalment Payment Option:

• Fees will be deducted in three instalments: first instalment on date of renewal/joining; second instalment on 1 October; and third and final instalment on 1 December.
• Instalment payment option is not available for members joining or renewing after 30 September.
• It is members responsibililty to ensure funds are available against the nominated credit card on the above instalment dates or an administration fee may be charged.

The ASORC ® Membership financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year.

Membership fees are renewable at the beginning of each financial year. Members have two months in which to pay their annual membership fee before being considered in breach of the Constitution and therefore lapsed members.

All Membership applications attract a non-refundable $55.00 application fee. This once only application fee does not apply to student members. Payment of application and membership fees is required before processing online applications (excepting student applications). The application fee is not refundable should your application be unsuccessful. Processing of fees does not constitute approval of your membership application. You will be advised regarding the outcome of your application.

Annual membership fees at a reduced rate are available in the following situations:

• Maternity leave - where a minimum of six months leave per year is taken (maximum of two concurrent years);
• Paternity leave - where a minimum of six months leave is taken;
• Member living overseas or retired members;
• Demonstrated hardship.
