Sponsored Student Prizes

Each year ASORC ® sponsors academic prizes at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in tertiary institutions nationwide to recognise excellence in rehabilitation studies. Currently the prize consists of a cash component and one year of ASORC ® membership (including application fee).

In February 2011 the ASORC ®National Executive Committee voted to change the ASORC ® sponsored student prize be changed to the ASORC ® Trevor Hawkins Prize as part of our organisation’s plans to ensure that Trevor Hawkins’ contribution to the rehabilitation counselling profession is recognised and remembered by current and future graduates.
